Giclée is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works and how giclée prints are produced.
Giclée is the highest quality colour print technology we have today. The detail is astonishing and because the method is a "spray" technique, you can print onto much better and heavier art paper.
We use Museum Heritage 330gsm paper. A beautiful natural white art paper with a pH neutral base (acid free) that is delicately textured.
Used by The British Museum for life-long archiving, the colours will never fade, even in bright sunlight.
This is a more expensive process than the usual laser colour printing method, but the difference in quality is worth every penny.
